I think the people in Iowa thought they were voting on the book of month. I cannot for the life of me see why anyone would waste their vote on Barrack Obama. Are the Iowains that gulluble(?) Barrack never ever says anything of substance, he took off accross Iowa boasting the samething day after day ” we need a change in Washington”, “I represent change in Washington” he has the same message politicians are always saying when they’ve got nothing else to bring to the table. He dosen’t say HOW he’s going to change things or what specifically he’ll change, and for some reasons Iowains never bothered to ask. Just about everyone that has ever run for President has said things need to change in Washington thats nothing new and we all want that. But the things that need changing have been going on for a hundred years so you better have some idea on what your going to start with. If Barrack does have an idea where he’s going to start he hasn’t told anyone else.
I’m just really shocked that Iowians bought into the celebrity of Obama, maybe shocked is the wrong word when realyy I’m not shocked I’m worried. I worried that the rest of the country will buy into his hype instead of his substance, I worried people will vote for him simply because Oprah supports him. I don’t want it to seem like I don’t have faith in the American people when casting their votes but Bush was voted in for 2 terms. So unless those people realize their mistake we better get use to President Obama because Bush was the feel good story of the times because his father was President and it would look good in the history books.
