I’m not sure how I feel about keeping someone out of the NFL. But if we are going to keep someone out I’m glad it’s Limbaugh. The thing is I don’t think anyone likes the idea of keeping someone out that can clearly pay his way. But because it’s Limbaugh there aren’t many people upset with the owners vote to keep him out.  Players we understand it’s based on talent. Ownership should be based on money and what the person brings to the table and I guess the owners think besides the money Limbaugh will bring drama to the table. I think for the most part owners think they should be transparent and not part of the football conversation because they don’t want someone to not like the team because of an owner. They want to get fans based the team and their performance on the field not because the owner is or isn’t a loud mouth.  Because of Limbaughs hypocritical attitude I’m glad he’s not going to be a part of the NFL.

It’s a Mad Mad World when your trying to provide healthcare to Americans. Why you wonder, because this country is dog eat dog everyone’s looking out for themselves without concern for others. You want to solve the debate ? Here’s how, take everyone’s healthcare away then I guarantee by the end of business today a healthcare plan will be decided and signed. The people that are debating on healthcare all have healthcare so it could take 5 years to agree and their lives won’t change or suffer. It really shouldn’t be hard, Americans deserve healthcare just as we deserve police protection. It saddens me the way my fellow Americans have gone to rallies to argue for or against healthcare.  It’s sad to think one American#1 doesn’t want American#2 to have healthcare for fear that his(American #1) will change. It’s sad that Americans will come to rallies to save their healthcare but won’t come out to rallies on the wars, taxes, or American rights. It’s all because everyone out for themselves. We’re talking about healthcare not a Chevy.

All week long we wait for the upcoming race. For many of us we spend our week hearing how bad things are,  we hear the arguing within our government. To the naked eye it looks as if nothing gets done and if you watch the nightly news everyday about the goings on you have to wonder how this country keeps going. I think we take for granted how sporting events where 10’s of thousands of people gather every weekend in many states across the U.S.. We can do that without fear of a terrorist attack. That just doesn’t happen by accident, it’s not luck that keeps us safe. We can go to a race or sporting event and concentrate solely on the event without fear and that’s huge.  That doesn’t happen because of a cracker jack event security staff   or a super hero like local police force it happens at hundreds of venues because we’ve got a homeland security detail working around the clock with state, local, and federal agencies with one goal in mind to keep US safe. So next time your going through a metal detector or turn style think about the good our government does. It’s not all bad.

Give Kate and John a break. None of us our any better we all have skeletons in our closets or have issues that the world wouldn’t agree with. You could take any issue in any one of our lives hand it over to the media and by dinner time have millions saying how wrong we are. Most of us have been through a divorce and have done something we’re not proud of or something we’ve done that could easily be twisted to make us look bad for good TV.

I really think if any one of us was approached by a network to do a reality show and they said “you don’t have to do anything just let us put up cameras in your house and record and you get to see and approve everything before is aired”. You’d think great, I can quit that dead end job and I’ll do it different than the other reality stars I’ll have a handle on it. We’d ALL try to do it for the MONEY.

I guess what makes me laugh is all these holy than now people that are speaking out on how they are doing the show for the MONEY and they are screwing up their children. If all those people that are speaking out took care of their own lives the way they preach that Jon and Kate should take care of theirs we’d have a lot less problems. It just crazy how screwed up our kids are getting because of PARENTS and all of a sudden we have all these great parents who know best when they probably don’t even know what their children have watched on TV or the people they’ve associated with today, while the parents are inside watching the Jon and Kate saga talking about how screwed up they are and what they are doing to their children their own kids are smoking a joint in the garage. The fact really is Jon and Kate probably take better care of their children than most of the people in the U.S.

I’m not saying anything they are doing is right or is wrong, I don’t expect to see compassion from the media but I do expect to see compassion from us regular Janes and Joes in the U.S. Come on people they’re just like us. They’re not the enemy, remember it takes a village and sometimes doing your part is keeping your mouth shut. Most of our parents taught us “if you don’t have something good to say then don’t say it”.

  I’m not and don’t think anybody should be upset with OUR President.  My thought is if you don’t want to be called an asshole don’t act like one. I think it’s a good sign of change; a president that’s thinking the same thing we’re thinking.

  If you are upset for what the president said your upset with the wrong person you should be upset with Kanye West not Barrack Obama. It’s not Obamas behavior that made West act like a asshole. It’s Wests behavior that caused the comment that was already said by millions. You should be re-thinking who your a fan of.

Kanye West has issues and is in need of help, it’s not the first time he’s opened his mouth before turning his brain on. I don’t even know if it’s possible to help him.

   Does the political party system work anymore ? What I mean is is it really productive to have democrates, republicans, libertarians, and the countless other parties that have sprung up through time. I know a single party goverment is a dictatorship but what I’m talking about is a NO Party Goverment. It seems with the multiple party system we are divided before we even learn the facts about an issues. It seems counter productive in this day and age. The politicians that we send to Washington are making decisions based on party not on the merits of the issue. Niether of the two major political partys want the other to be “right”, niether wants the other to get credit for solutions or ideas. If our politicians weren’t associated with a specific party they would vote on the merits of an issue sure you’d have some alliances and manuvering but far far less than we do now. Imagine it no one would control the senate an issue would be brought up and it would be voted on by individuals on its merits, our politicians we send would be held accountable for their votes they wouldn’t be able to hide behind a party. When a vote or resolution is passed or a bill is crafted the entire congress would get the acalades they would all get the glory they would work for their session not their party. Voters wouldn’t think in a manner of this party… or that party… got things done it would be the 110th Congressional Session kicked ass. They would work as one they would try to get more done than the previous session, voters would think like “boy the 110th Congress did way more than the 109th Congress. Maybe what I’m suggesting wouldn’t work or sounds crazy but what’s going on now isn’t working either.
  It just seems to me having a party system makes it a competition or game and it’s far far from a game and shouldn’t be a competition.

Ego, Ego, Ego. It’s not about race it’ about Ego. Police Officers cannot walk away that’s what it boils down to. No crime was committed it was just an upset homeowner no law against that he wasn’t being loud enough for neighbors to hear just loud enough for officers to hear. It wasn’t disorderly conduct or disturbing the peace or the City attorney would have made the charges stick. Again it’s ego police officers feel they must have the last word they must flex there muscle. Officers feel it’s law to obey them it’s Not, it’s law to obey laws. If you don’t like what I have to say or I’m say it to loudly leave that’s the best way to diffuse the situation. Officers don’t look for ways to diffuse they look for ways to show their authority.

It just blows my mind, last week a black professor couldn’t get into in his home so he broke in when police arrived he showed his Id’s to prove he was the homeowner once that occured the police should hit the road period if he was upset at the officiers BIG DEAL. If he provided his id’s along with lip service thats o.k., to the best of my knowledge it’s not against the law to give a police officier lip service that’s one law that hasn’t been passed yet. If he wouldn’t have complied then o.k. it’s obstruction but as long as he complied with their requests then no crime was committed. I’m sick and tired of law enforcement officiers making it up as they go along. It bothers me because it could happen to me not because I’m black, I’m white but I could see one day my door is jammed I break in which would be frustrating enough and officiers arrive I’m frustrated, owned and lived in the home 10 years, now I’m being treated like a criminal something stupid may(will probably) come out of my mouth but again NO law against that. Check my id and be gone, I don’t care if it’s the nut job sheriff in Airzona that showed up, put your tail between your legs and go. But officiers have too much ego for that. Then the kicker is Obama delivered his Healthcare speech last night(Weds. the 22nd) at the end of it he was asked about the incident he explained he was bias because the professor was a friend on his and continued to say he thinks the Cambridge officiers acted “Stupidly” ya you know what happened next instead of the pundents talking about the issue on how right or wrong the officiers handled it all they could talk about was how wrong Obama was to say they acted “stupidly”. I’m sorry, no I’m not sorry for one I agree with Obama and two its refreshing to hear honesty coming out of the whitehouse instead politcal correctness, I’ll take honesty everytime. Don’t want someone to say “acted stupidly” then don’t act stupid.

   The Miss USA and the Miss California pageant directors did the right thing. They continued to support Miss California after the firestorm over some old photos and the personal attacks led by Perez Hilmon(ya I Know Who) and others gay rights activists. It was also revealed that Hilmon(judge #8) was the only judge to give Miss California(Carrie Prejean) low marks after she answered the loaded question by him.

One of the questions I’ve been asking ever since this started was how or why was Hilmon asked to be a judge(?) it’s beyond me. There is NO good reason to have him judge such a pageant, it only weakens the pageant. He lacks the professionalism and knowledge of the modeling industry. He’s a blogger just like all of us that can type. There are only a couple reasons why he’d be chosen, everybody else was busy that day, its not the honor we thought it was , or he’s been under someones desk. For the life of me I can’t figure it out. Another question I have is Trump was asked would Hilmon be back as a judge? Trumps reply was “I’d love to have him back” that blows my mind, Trump has to know what a little pepsqueek Hilmon is so why would he say that ? The only things I can come up with are that Hilmon will do something else stupid that will get publicity for the pageant, or that Trump is smart enough to know everyone was watching the press conference today so it’s better to stay politically correct and extend the olive branch to Hilmon so the gay community isn’t offended. Hilmons a jerk not because he’s gay but because he’s a jerk, he took his gay platform and muddy up the pageant by sacrificing a contestant.

I have friends that are gay and they belive in Gay marriage, I don’t know what is right my first thought is NO a marriage is between a man and woman but as I think more into the issue I think that marriage is between two people that love each other. So I don’t know what is right, but I do know that jamming it down peoples throats telling them their wrong won’t bring change. The gay americans I know realize that. They realize change comes slowly they realize it’s not about right and wrong, who’s to say(?) it’s about acceptance and change. If gay rights groups continue to force the issue upon people it will be decades before the U.S. as a nation accepts gay marriage, you can’t tell people what they’ve known to be right for the last 100 yrs. has been all wrong, you must show for the future gay marriage is right. Then it can debated. I don’t know what’s best for the future. But I do know that I support Carrie Prejean (Miss California) not for her beliefs but for her courage to stand up for them her parents have alot to be pround of.
